what is “The Tongue Party”?

It’s an experiment, a new social storytelling series hosted by Joseph Price and Kaitlin Jentzen. We wanted to find a way for people to share stories without having to get on stage… so we’ve created an interactive experience that allows guests to share stories with each other in a casual, low-stakes setting. When you walk in, expect to get a story prompt on the theme of the night but, no worries, no one’s gonna make you get on the mic—we’ll have our featured tellers sharing some prepared stories later in the evening.

And, in a break from talking about ourselves, we’re going to give guests the opportunity to learn more about some of The District’s life-changing non-profits.

So join us for an intimate evening of social storytelling. Come say something.
